Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Baba Yoga Studio, an online yoga studio. By creating an account or purchasing a membership you agree to them. They're written to be read — if anything is unclear, email hello@babayogastudio.com.

Membership

• The membership gives you access to live online classes and the recorded video library while your subscription is active (currently $40/month billed monthly, or $360/year billed annually).
• Billing renews automatically through Stripe until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your profile (“Manage billing”) — no calls, no emails required.
• When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. We don't give partial refunds for unused time on a billing period already started.
• If a payment fails, your access pauses until it succeeds. Your account and history are never deleted for a failed payment.

Private sessions

• You may request a one-on-one session. Payment is only taken after your instructor accepts the time.
• Need to reschedule or cancel a paid session? Email us at least 24 hours before the session and we'll rebook you or refund you. Missed sessions without notice are not refunded.
• If your instructor has to cancel, you'll be rebooked or refunded in full — your choice.

Health and safety

• Yoga and calisthenics are physical activities. You participate at your own risk, and you'll be asked to sign a liability waiver before your first class.
• Consult a physician before starting if you have any condition that could be affected by exercise. Online classes mean your instructor cannot physically assist or observe you closely — work within your limits and stop if something hurts.
• You are responsible for your practice space and equipment being safe.

Your account and the content

• Your membership is personal. Don't share your sign-in links, class links, or account with others.
• Class videos and recordings are for your personal practice only — downloading, re-streaming, or redistributing them isn't allowed.
• Live classes may not be recorded by participants without everyone's consent.
• We can suspend accounts that abuse the service or other members, with a refund of any unused prepaid time.

The service

• Class schedules change; individual classes may be cancelled or rescheduled. That's part of a live studio, not grounds for a refund — but we'll always tell you by email.
• Live classes run on Google Meet; your use of Meet is subject to Google's terms.
• We work hard to keep the site available but can't promise zero downtime.

Liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, Baba Yoga Studio's total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update this page and note the date at the top. Continuing to use the studio after a change means you accept it.
